International leaders join Global Islamic Impact Investment Advisory Board

CANARY WHARF, U.K. – April 6, 2022 – PRLog — Today the Global Islamic Impact Investment Forum (GIIIF) announces additional members of the 2022 Strategic Advisory Board.
The pioneering, international forum brings together decision making stakeholders from Islamic Economies all over the world. Each Advisory Board member brings with them a depth of experience which will provide an exceptional pool of resources to the GIIIF network. The additional Board members are:
● Ramesh Kana brings over 30 years of diverse, international experience across energy, chemicals, investment banking, private equity, and accounting. He is the founder and Managing Director of Insha Holdings Berhad, a respected Shariah compliant, ESG conscious public company focussed on building a portfolio of high yielding and high value growth investments globally. Their portfolio companies currently include Insha Capital, Insha Technologies and Insha Health. Ramesh is also on the Board of Directors of Aditi Trustees Limited, a highly regarded Labuan based Trust & Fiduciary company and is Chairperson and a Trustee of the United Nations Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei Trust – the branch of the United Nations vested with responsibility for matters relating to the promulgation and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals within the corporate sector.
● Alex Dimitriou, has set up multiple investment firms and worked with multi-billion dollar Investment Conglomerates, Private Equity groups, Sovereign Funds and Family Offices, and has advised, executed or managed assets with an aggregate value exceeding US$ 70b across sectors, geographies and asset classes with a strong focus on sustainability, social / environmental impact and ESG. Currently, he is Senior Advisor to Pensive Ibis, an Asian family office, and he serves as a Mentor to the Business Advising Program at Pacific Community Ventures in the US, and a Member of the IRIS+ Working Group at the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN).
The advisors will counsel the team at GIIIF, and fulfil the important strategic function of developing the Lil Mustaqbal Pledge (translating to English as the For the Future Pledge) for the GIIIF network. A roadmap which takes the event’s intentions forwards and allows for a transparent evaluation of the network’s achievements by 2030.
